We run all our surgeries by an appointment-only system. Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery, visiting the surgery in person or online.
We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor. Dr Mittal works Mondays (including an extended clinic), Tuesdays and Fridays. Dr Thomas works Wednesdays and Thursdays.
As this is a teaching practice you may occasionally be asked to see a student doctor, should you have any objections please speak to a member of our reception staff, as no offence will be taken.
You need to register to use our online appointment booking service and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of our receptionists.
Where possible all home visit requests should be done before 10:00am. Please try to give the reception staff as much information regarding the problem and how urgent it is. All requests are given to the GP on duty and it is at their discretion if and when the patient will be visited or whether it can be dealt with over the phone.
Out of hours
The out of hours service is now dealt with by the NHS 111 service. If you need to be seen for an emergency that cannot wait until the surgery reopens, dial 111. If you feel your emergency could be life threatening, dial 999.
